I decided to create this FREE BLOG to help me collect some funds which may help me get some pocket change for food and help me get around while looking for a job. Being someone that has never asked help in form of donations, I wanted to create a simple game which could help myself and provide some excitement for those who are willing to take part and help me along the way.

I introduce to you all the "Message In A Bottle Donation Game of Chance"!!
"Message in a bottle game of chance" is a simple game which provides participating donors a chance to win a portion of all donated funds collected. The more a person donates, the more chances he'll have to win. Instead of taking all funds I receive from donations, I'll be giving some back to a few lucky winners in the form of cash prizes!How It Works;
-General-
1. Anyone kind hearted enough in helping me get back on my feet can participate.
2. A Minimum donation of $1 is needed to take part.
3. Each donation of $1 will be considered as 1 entry ticket. Participants who donate more than $1 will have more entry tickets with each ticket having a face value of $1, example;
$1 = 1 ticket
$2 = 2 tickets
$5 = 5 tickets
$7 = 7 tickets
-Fund Distribution-
1. 50% of all funds collected (Not Inclusive of Cash Prizes) will be used to help me get back on my feet. I have a feeling this wont work out they way i anticipate it so I guess 50% will turn out to be a small value.
2. 10% of funds collected will go to charity (min $100). With the hopes of what you give you get back in multiples.
3. Balance 40% of funds will be given back as Cash Prizes to the lucky winners of this game;
First Prize = 25%
Second Prize = 10%
Third Prize = 5%
4. Every 100th Donor Participant will automatically win $10 regardless of his donation value. This amount will not be counted as total funds during final cash distribution.
-Winning Selection-
So how will I determine who the lucky winners are?! The gimmick is in the name. Exactly 3 months after donations start, I will release 5 "message in a bottle"s into the ocean. This is to ensure that the probability of a bottle being found is higher. The game/donations will continue to run until someone out there in the world finds any of the bottles that was released. Once a bottle is found and I'm contacted, the game will end. The individual who found the bottle will win a small portion of the funds as a small prize (which will be determined before bottles are tossed) and will also be the person which will determine who the Top 3 winners will be! This will be done by picking 3 random numbers which will be associated with each donated entry.

I will only start this donation game once I receive some feedback for my idea. I plan on using Moneybookers to start and may add other donation options in the future.
Once game starts, daily updates on how many funds have been collected will be provided on this site. I will also provide some interesting links to other sites that have stories of messages in bottles that have been found.
I plan to run this game for a maximum of 1 year if non of the bottles have been found.
I Guarantee that all funds will be saved, distributed and paid according to the games description mentioned above.
